WESSLING soon to have new owner

On March 25, WESSLING Holding GmbH & Co. KG signed a contract to transfer ownership of the Australian listed company ALS Limited (ALS). The Federal Cartel Office and the responsible ministries for investment control in Germany and France must now approve the implementation of the transaction. This is expected to take between 45 and 60 days.

The WESSLING Group is an international company that specializes in analytics, testing and consulting. With 1,200 employees at 22 locations in Europe and China, the WESSLING Group offers expertise in engineering services, environmental and agricultural analysis as well as analysis of food, consumer products, cosmetics, and pharmaceuticals.

Since today's dynamic market environment requires significant investments, the WESSLING shareholders have decided to step aside and find a new owner for the family business who will increase the company's growth in the long term. This new owner is the ALS group.

ALS Limited has extensive global experience and a long history in the testing business. This represents a great opportunity for WESSLING to continue working in the quality testing sector and provide added value to customers. In addition, ALS and WESSLING share very similar corporate values, which was an important aspect in choosing ALS.
