GMO-free food and feed: WESSLING receives VLOG certification
We support food and feed producers with independent laboratory analysis for their VLOG certification. WESSLING fulfils all requirements to test your feed for VLOG (Verband Lebensmittel ohne Gentechnik e. V) according to "GMO-free" production and testing standards V19.01.
Screening for genetically modified organisms (GMO)
We test your feed and food for the presence of genetically modified organisms (GMOs) in accordance with VLOG guidelines. Our GMO analysis is part of the certification process that feed producers must undergo in order to obtain the VLOG certificate, an important certification for their customers.
Significance of GMO analysis and labelling for the food chain
Feed producers who produce GMO-free products are subject to high standards. This includes to prove that purchased GMO-free feed - for example, from maize, soybeans, rice or rapeseed - is VLOG certified. This proof has to be provided during audits and applies to all stages of production, including farmers and food producers. VLOG certification serves as a transparent orientation and safeguard for animal feed.
