1400 most modern additional square metres for WESSLING Lyon
2020 marked not only the beginning of WESSLING France’s twentieth year as one of the major service providers of laboratory analysis and testing in France. It also marked the beginning of a major expansion project, as in addition to the relocation of the WESSLING site in Lille, the family-owned company also approved the expansion of the Lyon site.
The work has currently been completed with the internal inauguration of the site's new premises.
Added value for employees and customers
The expansion project is allowing WESSLING France to maintain the quality of the service that characterises the company, while developing its analytical activity. In addition, the new space also offers the possibility of continuing to innovate by developing new services and benefits, according to customer needs and market developments.
“Our business continues to show steady, significant and positive development. We are recruiting, as our clients’ needs are changing, and we are developing our analytical capacity to continue to meet these needs. It was therefore time for us to expand our premises in order to maintain the quality of our service and to further optimise our employees’ work environment. It is our collegues who create added value for our company and our customers. They have be able to continue to work without hindrances,” explains Jean-François Campens, Managing Director of WESSLING France.
Some facts and figures:
- The site of WESSLING Lyon has expanded by 1,400 sqm and now covers a total area of 6,400 sqm.
- 870 sqm are dedicated to laboratories (environmental and asbestos analysis, waste analysis) and storage space (logistics, cold room).
- The remaining 530 sqm are occupied by offices, a cafeteria and other living areas.
